FUP assists you through all the stage of the manuscript preparation, from the writing to the post-publication dissemination, ensuring a worldwide impact and diffusion.
Before submitting your paper, be sure that your manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines of the journal you chose. In any case, when you prepare your article, please consider our general recommendations:
- Find the best journal for your research
FUP journals cover a very wide range of topics, giving you the opportunity to boost the visibility of your research and reach a worldwide diffusion. Visit our Journal’s Catalogue, read the “Focus and Scope” of each journal and browse all the published articles. Once you have outlined the major outcomes of your research and your target audience, choose the journal that best fits your work!
- Review journal publishing policies and the Open Access license agreement
As an author, we encourage you to check our general Publishing Policies, as well as any specific policy for the journal you selected. All the works published by FUP comply with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY-4.0) that allows others to share the article with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and original publication. For more info please visit the Open Access section.
- Review the specific journal guidelines
Before submitting your paper ensure that your manuscript fulfills all the style and formatting requirements, which are specifically outlined for each journal.
Remember also to check the permission to use or reproduce any image in your manuscript, as well as to include any Supplementary Material.
Here you can find a detailed checklist for the preparation of your manuscript.
- Submit your manuscript
Once your manuscript is ready, go to the webpage of journal you selected and click “Make a Submission” to be directed to the online submission system. The system requires you to create an account in order to submit your paper. If you have created an account on the journal’s website previously, this can be used again to submit new manuscripts.
