The 2019 and 2020 issues of the LEA – Lingue e Letterature d’Oriente e d’Occidente journal will include sections devoted to the study of the relationship between literature and visual culture. A short description of the state of the art of research in this area can be consulted in the essay accompanying the CFP (http://dx.doi.org/10.13128/LEA-1824-484x-24217).
We invite scholars working in this field to send contributions to the section, in any of the following languages: Italian, English, German, French or Spanish, following the editorial guidelines. Selection can be made from the following topics:
- Theoretical studies on the relationship between literary texts and research on visual culture
- Studies on iconotextual pratice
- Studies of phototextual production
- Studies on iconisms
- Studies on “scopic regimes” in literary narrative
- Studies on ékphrasis
